David lived his life always rooting for the underdog. He was a lover of all animals and people and those in need. He could do anything he could do any craft or project activity sport you name it. He was always fun to be around and such a light.
He was so much fun to be around because he was always laughing. His favorite was to pick on his friends and family especially those he loved most. Laughing was his way of showing his love. If you knew David you knew his smile you knew his laugh and you knew that that was his way to show you how much you meant to him.
David was a real family man and he loved more than anything. He is survived by his beloved and devoted family: his parents, Joseph R. Johnson and Julia M. Johnson; his siblings, Robert Johnson and Joy Kelley; and his two beautiful daughters, Emily Johnson and Molly Johnson; and his dear friends. If you were close to David you knew it. He reached out he shared amazing stories and experiences with so many people and that it will continue to cherish during these times.
Please honor David's legacy by loving each other, rooting for the underdog, and smiling bright smiles to those around you. Honor him by remembering how much he loves you and saying his favorite sayings with him in mind: That’s awesome and Yeah right. Also, maybe catch him a fish every once in a while.
