Egon Kristensen Stage, 91, of Margate, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2023, joining his cherished wife, Johnna, and his beloved son, Christian in heaven above. He is survived by his son Eric (Tina), four grandsons Mason, Cameron, Connor and Dawson, sister Inge Wachsmuth (Bjarne) and many nieces and nephews.
Born in Esbjerg, Denmark, he dedicated his life to nurturing his family and excelled as a dedicated husband, a loving father, and a doting grandfather. Egon was an army veteran who exemplified resilience and honor. After serving in the armed forces, Egon had a long and successful career as a merchant marine finishing his career as a captain. His legacy of love, laughter, and integrity will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him. Egon will be laid to rest alongside his wife and son in Denmark.
