Hilda Cruz, a loving and generous soul who embraced life with a spirit of adventure, passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on April 18, 1930, Hilda was a resident of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She was known for her warm heart and generous nature, and she lived life with the passion of a true gambler, always willing to take chances and enjoy the journey.
Hilda is survived by her two daughters, Leslie (Joe) Alam and Donna (John) Allison. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her grandchildren: Jason, Nathan, Daniel (Lorin), Keith (Haley), Ryan, Ashley, and Derek (Caitlin). Her great-grandchildren Kaitlyn, J.R., Matthew, Aidan, Aubrey, Cruz, Taylor, Amelia, Samuel, Miles, and Noah will carry forward her spirit and joy for life.
She was predeceased by her beloved spouse, Serafim Cruz, and her grandson, Christopher. Hilda will be remembered for her love of life and the warmth she brought to all who knew her.
