In her spare time, Joan enjoyed traveling, entertaining friends and family, camping, hunting, bowling, dancing, puzzles, and crafting. After her retirement as a Federal employee, she got to enjoy these hobbies even more. Joan was also an unwavering fan of the Washington, DC football and baseball teams, even after moving from the area.
Joan was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe F. Wilson; and she is survived by her loving children, Diana Whelan (Ed), and Debbie Milewski (Charlie); grandchildren, Jason Conner, Leila Milewski, Peter Milewski, Michael Timmermann; 4 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Patsy Mahood and Jaime Reppert.
