As a baby Kaiden smiles were warmer than anything you will ever know. Mouth spread from corner to corner. He drank from his baby bottle until he was 3 years old. He would only drink from that specific bottle and it had to be at a specific temperature. Crying whenever it was change. It was his only comfort. Kaiden started showing his charisma from an early age, bouncing balls, encouraging his cousins to try new things and charming the girls.
Kaiden grew up going to Jamaica for the summers with his grandma Vivie where he would spend time with his older cousins. Kaiden was treated as the baby by family and everyone in the neighborhood. Kaiden liked buns and it was amazing to hear different people would buy buns from the bun truck when they came by for Kaiden. He loves to ride on uncle Danny’s cow back and waiting for aunty Morene’s famous fry chicken every evening. Auntie Jennifer and auntie Annie spoiled Kaiden rotten. He loved to ride in the back of his grandma pick up truck. Kaiden loved to vacation and this summer was exceptional, he visited Greece and Turkey where he documented his trip as a movie to show his work as an aspiring Film Director/ videographer.
At three years of age Kaiden started bouncing balls and there was no more late morning sleep for anyone. He was sought after by every coach he met. Kaiden visited Georgia and coaches wanted to steal him from Florida. Kaiden played for Hunt’s elementary school and later South Plantation high school. When time came for college Kaiden choose Mobile University away from home. He was not a baby anymore out exploring the world with dreams of making it to the NBA one day.
Kaiden loved his school, his new friends and most of all his coach. He told his dad “coach Archey is not like other coaches, he is nice”. On November 19 Kaiden was training with Bryce his assistant coach doing what he loved more than anything. When his session was over Kaiden walk to his locker to change for class and unfortunately passed out with no one around. Another player P.J. found Kaiden down and try everything he could to bring back his friend but unfortunately Kaiden did not make it.
Kaiden left behind 5 siblings 4 sisters Felicia, Rocquel, Maya, Makayla and his only brother Fazion his mentor, his best friend and his first coach.
