Madge Marie Carey “Moi” departed this Earth on Thursday, August 26, 2021. She was born in St, Catherine, Above Rocks, the daughter of John and Bernice Carey. A graduate of St. Mary’s College, Jamaica. She provided consistent love and support to her family and those around her. Madge approached her life with grace, courage, and determination.
She enjoyed dancing, filling her surroundings with music and laughter; laughter that was infectious! She delighted in nurturing her flowers, and would often return from Jamaica with new plants ( hush! hush yu mouth, don’t tell nobody, Shhhh).
Madge leaves in God’s care and will be truly missed by her children Ann, Ariel, and Christopher as well as her sister Donna, brothers, Garth and John, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and many cousins and dear friends.
Memorial contributions may be sent in Madge’s name to St. Mary’s College, Above Rocks, Jamaica, or Parkinson's research.
“Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them, may the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God, rest in peace”.
