I just heard that Manny passed away. Though he is with the Lord, I am sorry for your loss and separation here on earth.  I remember you both very fondly from years ago at Emmanuel. God comfort and keep you and your children.

Manuel hijo...esperame en el cielo.  Fuistes fiel y contestastes: heme aqui a la llamada celestial.  Tu mami Rosita te amara por siempre y estare alla contigo tan pronto reciba el llamado de mi Senor.

Manny is everything to me. He completed my life and made it even better. God gave us 22 years of happiness and companionship. We together raised two wonderful children Nick and Raquel. He put the Lord first and God blessed him abundantly. He made me a better person. He touched the life of many and inspired people to be better. His passive attitude about everything taught me how enjoy life and trust God. Manny always smiled, life was too short to be angry or sad. He filled our home with his laugh and joy. He made me the happiest woman of this world. Now almost a month of his departure to heaven you are still so close to us. Our memories together will always fill my empty heart. Our children  will be always so proud of what you did and who you are. Manny you will be my forever love. I will see you again in heaven. I love you. It was a honor to be your wife.

I just learned of Manny's passing.  He was a special person in my life many years ago at Emmanuel Baptist Church.  My deepest condolences to beautiful family.  He is now rejoicing with our Lord and Saviour.

Manny was a really good friend.  A really good Boricua's friend.  I remember when he took the IT test to enter Eastern Airlines/System One, because he asked me about it.  We didn't keep in touch but he was always there to support you.  We played basketball together and share good times.  Always smiling… I will miss you my friend!

Tio you were greatest influence in my life, you showed me the love for the game of basketball and taught me the value of working hard, You were always there for me during the tough times in my life always by my side every time I was in a hospital bed you were there next to me showing support and helping me get through it with your words of encouragement. Even though my mom always told you that I love you and love spending time with you I never got the chance to tell you the words "I love you" personally. Nick and my mom told me how proud you were of me that I continued my education in college even with my health problems and Tio I will graduate from college and when I do I'm dedicating my diploma to you. You used to always call me "champ" I'll never forget that. Tio You stepped in for me and AJ when our dad left us. Tio you are the perfect example to follow on how to be a great man. You're irreplaceable uncle not even my dad will be able to replace you nobody will! You're the best uncle any nephew could ask for. Tio I Love you & I miss you but I will see you again soon.

I knew Manny and that big beautiful red SUV!!!   The kindest sweetest man who would always give up his parking space to me in the Kaplan parking garage.....Manny I will forever save that spot for you!!!!

I met Manny playing Basketball at the Coral Springs men's league seven years ago. I did not know that the man playing beside me was connected to my family. After this sudden departure, I found out that Manny married the daughter of my childhood pastor; whom is well remembered by my parents, Also, Rebeca and her sister Eunice are related to my wife.  It makes it more difficult not to have known before and had the opportunity to build a greater relationship.

My deepest sympathy to the Rosa's family and strong prayers.

My most sincere condolences to the family; I met Many when he started at Eastern until I left in 1997 and after I received an occasional email from him.  Even though we were not clos e friend I always have good memories of those days we worked together.

I remember Manny to be a man of few words publicaly but of great impact to many young men in the youth ministry and how they all wanted to be around him. 
I even remember when he and Rebeca had just met and it all flowed  so beautifully .
I  got to know him when I was part of the worship team and saw how humbly he would share his musical talent with others.
His life was a testimony, an example of a Godly husband , father and brother.

Manny worked with me in Eastern Airlines and lived in Coral Springs at that time. He would make bike stop in our house in Coral Springs.
Later when he worked in Deerfield, he would eat lunch in JMFamily cafeteria and several times we would run to each other. I worked for JMFamily at that time.   
He was proudly talking about you, his Family. He also was talking about  church and his participation in ministries.
I will always remember his joy and enthusiasm.

We were so sad to hear of Manny's sudden passing. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.  May God give you and the family comfort and  strength.

The Coral Springs Dream Team. It started off as a 2nd graders from Coral Springs with basketball dreams, yet for over 4 seasons, that turned into state titles and more importantly, life long friendships. But what sometimes goes under the radar, is one of the main people responsible for allowing these kids to chase their dreams, Manny Rosa, the Dream Coach. He always said people have to be ready for life after their playing days and how basketball is just one small piece of your life. The impact he had in the basketball community was great but that doesn't even compare to the life lessons he taught to hundreds of young individuals like my brother and I. I was able to witness first hand how he was the dream husband to his wife, the dream father to his kids, the dream uncle to two of my best friends, and another father figure to my brother and I. Rest In Paradise Manny Rosa. You will never be forgotten.

Our hearts are heavy and sadden with grief to know our brother  has moved on from this world to the next.  But we are not without hope, you were a soldier of the cross of Jesus Christ. There are no words to express what I felt when I heard the news. I have cried for days.  I can only think of Rebeca, Nicholas, Raquel, Betsy, his mother, father and the rest of the immediate family. This has been very painful for us too, his friends, and just everybody that at one point met this wonderful man.  I thank God for giving me the opportunity of having Manny as a friend to share with him, Rebeca and others SIEMPRE UNIDOS,...unforgettable memories we had together.  The birth of our kids etc.. I know God will give Rebeca, the kids and family the comfort they need and we his friends will be there for them.   l love you Rebeca, Manny had so many friends and people that loved him.  Everybody that made contact with him in a way or another was impact.  His attitude, his determination, his convictions, his personality.  All that he was, an Amazing Example...his legacy will follow.  I pray for Rebeca, Nicholas and Raquel and all his immediate family...God will glorify himself in all of this...and we will continue to give him the glory and follow Manny's example in his life... Him as a husband, as a father, as a brother, as a friend and  most of all as a servant of our God.   Manny, we are going to miss you so much. Nick and Raquel, you carry an amazing legacy, being the children of a man who showed us all how to love his spouse, his church, his God, and his family. We will never understand why someone needed so much here on earth would be taken so soon. And for that, my heart is with you.

When we mourn the departure of loved ones is because they poured into our lives a special love that called us to a higher purpose in life.  We walked together, we encouraged one another, we laughed together, and, sometimes, we cried together.  All of these things happened to make our living much more bearable.  We also know that, at any moment's notice, one of us will face death.  However, we do not usually mourn that they died, but we mourn the separation and the void they left in our lives.  We also mourn their departure because when they left to be with the Lord Jesus, they also took with them something from us: our love for them.

It seems we do not mourn them, but we mourn that they left ahead of us.  We grieved that we have more days to labor until the Master calls us home.  We also cry with gratitude to the Lord for allowing us to have our loved ones for a season.  When we mourn is because they made a difference in our lives.  Mourn we must for our mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual welfare.  However, we do it with the glorious hope, that one day we will see them; this time, it will be forever.  Better than that is the fact that we will meet the One who made possible the love we shared with our loved ones while were here on planet Earth.  Until we meet again, Manny, I will press forward to the prize of the high calling that is in Christ Jesus!  Thanks a millions for touching my life!

I can't even describe the pain I am feeling right now with your absence. You taught me everything I know. Since I can remember you have been by my side in every walk of life. I know you always told me that if something happened that I would need to watch over Mom and Raquel, I just never thought that day would come. The void I am feeling in my heart will never be filled, but I am waiting patiently for my time on this earth to be up so I could one day be with you again. But until then I will continue to live my life the way you raised me too and I will live in honor of you. Your legacy still lives through Raquel and I, as well as all the things you helped develop such as scorbot and Coral Springs Basketball. You really did impact so many people around you, and they have been supporting Mom, Raquel, and I through this hard time. I know you were so proud that Manny, Aj, and I were all in college and there would be nothing better than for all of us to come out of college with our degrees. I wouldn't be the person I am today without your guiding hand and your great knowledge of life. From now on I live and play basketball for you because I know how proud that made you. I can't wait to see you again Dad. I love you.

Manny will be missed greatly.  He like Kevin was able to go home  do something he loved playing the game of basketball.  He has now taken his game to a much higher level.  Over the years Manny has given me lots go good advice as well as many good laughs.  We will one day meet again.

The Nova Southeastern University basketball family lost a wonderful fan, a cherished friend and a beautiful father with Manny's passing. I was so sad to hear of Manny's sudden passing. My prayers and condolences are with your family.  Manny had a lasting influence on my son's love of basketball.
