Dad, I will miss you, your laugh and your smile and how you always wanted to make life better for those around you. Whether it was intricate wiring, rigging up some other gismo to make things work, or just a kind word, you always had a solution for almost any problem or inconvenience.  I will always remember your visit in June, which was the last time I really got to see you, sitting outside on the porch in the sun reading a book on Belize. You always welcomed me into the family, and I couldn't have been happier to be your son in law. God bless you on your continued journey. Love Ron

My Grandfather has been there for every chapter of my life. Always giving support and always giving his love. When he left, I didn't know how to handle it. The only I could do was remember that Death is a brief separation and only ends a life, and not a relationship.

If I had my wish, you would have lived forever. I heard this song(Joshua James-FM Radio) during the week that I knew my wish wasn't going to come true and some of the lyrics talked about his daddy not coming home again.

You may never come home again, but you'll always have a home in my heart.  I'm overwhelmed by memories of childhood walks by the shore, your singing, laughter, your recordings -tapes & videos, the love of books we shared and how you were always  one of the kindest people I knew. Daddy I miss you so much.  I feel sadness that I cannot speak with you again. You left a hole in my heart which I can only fill with memories of the time we shared.  I know you will be watching over all of us all the time. I know you will be there with me in my quiet walks, when I stand by the seaside, when I reflect on a poem and when I listen to one of your favorite hymns for these were the things you loved. I will always cherish the way that you accepted me into your family as the "honorary" family member. Your kindness and warmth just shone through. What great times and family celebrations we had! You epitomized the true example of a "family" man. You will live on forever in our hearts. I will miss you!!!

Your smiles just like my grandpa who lives in my heart forever, it makes me sad when I saw your pictures with your daughter Patricia, you will always in our mind, and you are part of my family too now for all kinds reasons, I love you as my grandpa.

Although I never met Mr. Dowse, I know he must have been an amazing man because he certainly raised an amazing daughter. I know he will be with all of you always. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Dad, the journey of your life took you to England where we may have crossed paths and it intersected on the beautiful occasion of your daughter's wedding.  You were full of joy and pride that day and through the years I came to understand how much your family meant to you.  I have so many wonderful memories of the times we shared.  The joy and laughter will live on at every family celebration and I know you will be smiling down at us. The few times I saw him with all of his family by his side,  it was obvious he was in a loving and caring family.  I am sure he will be missed. Deepest sympathy to his family.

Although it's been a long long time since I have seen Mr. Dowse, I was a neighbor in Belize and a child at the time, I remember him having a very important job with the government. I remember a very upstanding man who loved his wife (Miss Pinky) and children. My parents are both gone so I would like to think they are re-connecting up there with the other Belize folk who have passed on. I want to express my sorrow to the family for their loss and to say that trust in God and remember every little thing that you can and that person will actually never leave you, only in the physical sense. Stay strong and hold on to each other.

Dear Ms Juanita and cousins, please remember that we still want an opportunity to treat Uncle Dowse special and we know that we still have that opportunity through all of you.  We know how much he loved his wife, kids, and grand-kids and so in his honor, please know that we always have an open invitation for all of you here in Belize.  We know that we would make him smile if he sees us spending time together and hosting you in our home with love.

The first and last time I met Uncle Dowse was when he made a special trip to Belize for our wedding.  How sweet he was to me as if we had known each other for years.  It brought joy to my heart to see him on the dance floor at the wedding as he celebrated with us.  We had so many plans to visit and get to know him and his family better now that situations had changed in our family that would bring us closer to Ft. Lauderdale, but sadly time ran out on us.  Every year for my birthday I get a Facebook greeting from him and every time I post pictures of the kids he always had a sweet comment.  Peachy and I know that we lost a great opportunity to spend more time with a very loving man that cared for us, but we are consoled by the fact that we have another angel looking out for us as we continue our journey here  - until we meet him again.

I spent time with Marshall on just two occasions. He was a kind and gentle spirit, in fact a true gentleman in every sense of the word. His sincerity and kindness was evident in his eyes and he truly loved all of his kids and grandkids. I'm sad that the world has lost a great man.

Dowse was someone that always left a great impression on every one he met.Being around his family was always a happy time and we all enjoyed the time we spent with him. God has given us a lot of good memories and we are very grateful .Now he is in a better place but will never be forgotten

As we pass on to a better place we are always remembered for the little things we do that affect so many people. My thoughts are with you and your family.

We are so sorry to hear about your loss. Your husband, father, grandfather and friend was a wonderful person and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. We want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. We will remember the gentle spirit and kind nature of Marshall, and will always remember him as an exceptionally special person. There is a great void to be filled by his passing, but we know that the depth of love that your family shares for each other and for Marshall will pull you through. He was a charming man with a lot of great stories to tell. I wish I could have sat down with him and talked more about his history. He will be missed by many from those who knew him and for those who hadn't will only read how good of a person Marshall was.

Although I never got to meet Uncle Douse, from what my grandma tells me he is a very special person and he meant a lot to her. May god take very good care of him now because he is resting happily in paradise.  I wish the best for any of my family going through lots of grief.
