Born on June 2nd, 1949 in Amsterdam, NY he was the son of the late Bernice Bennett (Zillgitt) and Charles Bernard Bigler. Robert attended Amsterdam Schools as well as Montgomery Community College. He worked for the New York state and finance office for a number of years before moving his family to Florida to run his own business.
He is survived by his loving wife, Debra Elaine Bigler whom he married on June 23rd 1973; Children Nichole Sellars and Erika Kehlhofer; Grandchildren, Claire Lefort, Lily Lefort, Nickolas Peguero and Ella Farmer.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 Saturday March 15th at Kraeer Funeral Home & Cremation Center - 1655 N University Drive, Coral Springs FL 33071 with the Reverend John Danner officiating.
