Todd Caplette of Coral Springs, Florida passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at the age of 54. He was born on June 18, 1969, in Brooklyn, New York where he grew up in Bay Ridge.
Todd graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He worked as a police officer in the NYPD and as a deputy in the Broward Sheriff’s Office. Todd always loved to cook, be with his family and friends, and support LSU and its sports since his son began to attend the university.
Todd was preceded in death by his father, Edward; and mother, Janice. He is survived by his son, Nicholas Caplette; and uncle, Ernest Birch.
