There are no words but I know Travis is running around in heaven and shining like the brightest star in the sky!  Our boys are our shining lights.  They will never burn out.

Sometimes words are just not enough or to much.  And  all you really need is a shoulder to cry on or to talk ...someone who will just listen.  Maybe a hug. A safe & loving hug...something to put that smile back on your face.  Well one thing you can smile about....he is right there next to you smiling down at you. I lost a best friend to DMD so can put myself in you shoes.

At least he is not in pain and flyin around the with all the other DMD angels may  he rest in peace and am thinkin about you and your family members  who have lost a love one and member of your close and extended family.

Chin up and celerbate his life it will make the loss a bit easier to bear.

I was so saddened and sorry to learn that Travis had passed. I know he was loved by all and touched so many others in his life he will be missed greatly. I will remember the many stories you shared with me over the years about elevator rides and GPS travels. He was always smiling and an inspiration to all. 

You and your family are in my thoughts....

We are full of sorrow and wish words could comfort. You and Roger and family provided Travis with so much love and the best of care. We will never forget how much you shared of his life and that is a testament to the human spirit and strength and courage. He made us laugh and we loved seeing his big beautiful smile. We have all grown to love you and your family Kathy. I think Travis touched so many lives because he truly lived life. Much love to your family from ours.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered "come to me." With tearful eyes I watched you and saw you pass away. Although I loved you dearly, I could not make you stay. God broke my heart to prove to me, he only takes the BEST.

I am so sorry for your loss.  My heart aches for you and your family.  I am praying that you are comforted during this time with memories of your beautiful son.

My heart was so sad, I agonized over what to say, both to you all & to Brianna.  She loves Travis SO much! I decided not to tell her before bed, but in the morning. Brianna, ever the intuitional soul, made it easy on me...she woke up in the middle of the night & asked what was wrong. I told her, and when she saw the candle burning, she asked if that was for Travis.  I said, "Yes", and she said she wanted to light one for him too. She got very quiet while looking at the candles & then cried. She said, "Travis doesn't need a wheelchair now - his soul can FLY."  
Then she asked me if I would sleep in her room. I did...and the last thing she said was, "I'm going to dream about Travis & Kathy & Roger... and all the fun stuff we used to do." 
I thought that is about the best way to honor someone, to keep them in your thoughts & dreams.

My heart goes out to you. As a member of the MD extended family I want to express my deepest condolences for the loss of Travis. Sending prayers your way to help find comfort as you grieve the loss of your beloved son.

I am sorry to hear of Travis's passing.  I wish I could be there, but will be there in spirit. You have my deepest condolences and prayers.

Though I didn't know Travis personally, I could tell through pictures and sentiments you shared, he was a very happy and loved boy. He was truely blessed to have such a loving and beautiful mother. In this impossible time, please know you are constantly on my mind and forever in my heart.
