

Victoria Thomas, affectionately known as Grandma, Mother Vickie, Sakem, or Clemie, transitioned to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 79, on October 27, 2021, at Coral Springs Medical Center, Coral Springs, Florida. Victoria was born on October 22, 1942, in St. Catherine, Jamaica the daughter of Jane Thomas-Ferguson and Baltimore Ferguson. Her formal education was completed at the Brown’s Hall All - Age school. At a very early age, Victoria became an entrepreneur and a Certified Nursing Assistant. She traveled extensively throughout the United States and the Caribbean to make a better living for her family and to perfect her trade. She was the proud mother of five children and one adopted daughter. At a very early age, she instilled in her children the importance of making Jesus the center of their life and the need for a good education.
Making Florida her home for the past 30 plus years, she became a member of the Jubilee of Praise Church. She was a part of the Usher team and oversaw the Church Pantry where they feed those that were less fortunate. Victoria was known for her strong faith in God, always willing to help others and having a listening ear.
A viewing will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021, at Kraeer Funeral and Cremation Center located at 1655 North University Drive Coral Springs 33071. This will be followed by the service celebrating the life of Victoria Thomas at 11:00 A.M., on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Jubilee of Praise Church located at 4505 North West 103 Ave, Sunrise Florida 33321.
The Internment will be held at Bailey’s Memorial, located at 7801 Bailey Road North Lauderdale, Florida 33068.
Funeral arrangement is being done by Kraeer Funeral and Cremation Center.
