Anita is predeceased by her parents Ernest and Alice (née Cloutier) Gagne; her sister Annette Ethier (late Gabi); her parents-in-law Leo and Jeanne DesRosiers; and her brothers-in law: Dollard DesRosiers and Hector DesRosiers.
Anita was a proud woman; she was known for her love of jewelry and her insistence on making sure she wore a necklace and a pair of earrings each and every day.
She was incredibly talented; even discovering a hidden knack for painting at the age of 57 years old. She used this talent to spoil her children and grandchildren, making everyone a personalized painting just to show how proud she was of them.
The family would like to extend a very special thanks to Anita’s “adoptive” daughter Julie Ethier-Denis, who visited her regularly to do her nails and play cards.
They would also like to thank the staff at the Glen Stor Dun Lodge for the wonderful care she received.
In keeping with Anita’s wishes cremation has taken place.
