Born on July 10, 1936, in Cornwall, Anita devoted her life to caring for others, both personally and professionally. A longtime Personal Support Worker at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care, she served with compassion and dedication prior to retirement. Anita's warmth, kindness, and quiet strength touched countless lives, and her legacy of care lives on through her family and the community she served so faithfully.
Anita was the beloved wife of the late Lloyd Moquin of Cornwall. She was a cherished mother to Christopher Moquin (Kimberly), Edward Moquin (Jan), Alan Moquin, Brigitte Taillon (Ian), and Cynthia Seguin (Pete). A proud grandmother, she was blessed with 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Yvonne Glaude (née Blais), her brother Roger Glaude, and one grandchild Russell Moquin. Her loss is felt deeply by all who knew her, but she leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and resilience.
The family wishes to thank the dedicated staff at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care, who not only provided Anita with comfort in her final day but also shared in the care and camaraderie of her many years of service.
In keeping with Anita’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie and Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch, 614 First Street East (613-933-2841).
In memory of Anita, donations to St. Joseph’s Continuing Care would be appreciated by the family. Messages of condolence may be left at www.lahaiesullivan.ca
