BAZINET, Clarinda – Peacefully passed at the St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Center on Monday July 8, 2013. Clarinda Bazinet (Champagne) of Cornwall age; 100 years. Beloved wife for 65 years, to the late Émile Bazinet. Dear mother of Rene (Mathilde Gravelle) of North Bay, Dollard (Gloria Curwin) of Sudbury, Adrien (late Mary Rose McKee), Pierrette Meilleur (late Gerry) and Denis of Cornwall. Predeceased by her sons Armand (Gisele Savage) and Jean-Guy (late Diane Godard). Cherished grandmother of 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great- grandchildren. Survived by her brother Romeo Champagne (late Jeanne Lafrance) of Embrun .Predeceased by her parents Eusebe Champagne and Marianne Boisvenue, by three brothers Isidore (late Aldéa Champagne), Léo (late Réella St. Pierre) and Emery (Juliette Lafrance of Crysler) and two sisters Marie-Rose Lebrun (late Rolland) and Desneiges Potvin (Gérard Potvin of Ottawa). Resting at Lahaie and Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch, 614 First St. East, (613-933-2841) from 7 P.M. Wednesday. Funeral Thursday July 11, 2013 for Mass of Christian Burial in Ste. Félix-de-Valois Church at 11A.M. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery. The family will be in attendance Wednesday from to 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. and from 8:30 A.M. until time of Funeral on Thursday. As expression of sympathy, Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
