She is predeceased by her Husband Merlin, her stepson Mitchell, her sister Laurel and her parents, Gordon and Alexina.

Heather was born November 23, 1943, in Wilbraham, Massachusetts where she graduated from Minnechaug Regional High School. She later attended American International College where she studied English and spent a number of years teaching at Salmon River before dedicating the rest of her career to Human Services at the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe.
Heather was an avid gardener who loved her flowers, trees, and the tackiest lawn ornaments she could find -- all hidden deep in the woods so you'd never notice the pink flamingoes named Crocket and Tubbs. She also loved detective stories in any form; be it mystery novels, crime shows, or fan fiction, and she had an extensive how-to library with them all.
Finally, and most important of all, Heather loved a good joke, and her legacy is how many people she made smile. So, make someone laugh in Heather's memory or consider this: We will be playing the Tetris Theme at her memorial.
