Loving husband of Helen (née Doré) for 58 years.
Cherished father of Jocelyn Laplante (Darrin) and Jonathan. Proud grandfather of Fiona. He will be dearly missed by his brother Robert.
John was predeceased by his parents Roger and Germaine Leroux and his brother Gordon (Judith).
He will be fondly remembered by his brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws as well as many nieces and nephews.
John was an avid gardener, a passion he cultivated over several decades. He also enjoyed curling and golfing.
Family will be in attendance at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Home, East Branch, 614 First Street East (613-933-2841) on Monday August 26 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday August 26, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to The Heart & Stroke Foundation or Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation, would be appreciated by the family.
