Margaret Bertha Ezard

Born in Montreal, Quebec, on September 19, 1933, Margaret was the beloved wife of Carl Ezard, with whom she shared over 72 years. She was the devoted daughter of the late Gerard and Adrienne (née Lalonde) Bariteau.

Margaret leaves behind a legacy of love and family. She is survived by her loving children: Rodney Ezard (Anna), Sandra Conley (Dana), and Deborah Finnigan (Eric). She is predeceased by her children David Ezard and Susan Disotell (Claude), whose memories she held close to her heart.

She was a proud grandmother to 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

She is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Huguette Lalonde (Maurice), Lilliane Ward (Ernest), and Paul Bariteau (Ann). She is predeceased by her sister the late Marie Jeanne Empey (late Reginald).

In keeping with Margaret’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Cornwall Wesleyan Church, 780 Sydney St, Cornwall, ON. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes – West Branch (613-932-8482).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation (www.liver.ca) or to the Cornwall Wesleyan Church (613-936-9166).

She will be missed dearly, remembered fondly, and forever held in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
