Marie Laure Godard (née Brunet), of Riverdale Terrace Retirement Home, Cornwall on Saturday, September 10th, 2016 in her 94th year. Loving wife of the late Gerard “Jerry”. Cherished mother of Marie-Claire Dorey (Charles), Jeannine Hills (Edwin), Euclide, Richard, Madeleine, Diane Bazinet (Aurel) Jean-Paul (Janet), Jean-Claude (Suzi), Pierrette, Pierre and Anne-Marie (Don). Beloved grandmother of twenty-nine grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren. Loving sister of Arcade (Fleurette), Jim (Pauline), Gloria Blanchard and Lyette Ladouceur. Predeceased by her parents Euclide and Eliana (Campeau) Brunet and by two brothers Zenor and Gerard. A Heartfelt thank you from the family to the Doctors and Nurses at Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site and the staff at Riverdale Terrace Retirement Home.
Resting at LAHAIE & SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, East Branch, 614 First Street East (933-2841) Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Thursday from 9 am. Funeral Thursday, September 15th, 2016 to Ste. Thérèse-de-Lisieux Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Interment to follow at Notre-Dame Cemetery, South Branch Road.
The family will be in attendance from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Wednesday and Thursday from 9 am until time of Funeral at 11 am.
