Marie-Reine Summers

Marie-Reine was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gordon Wesley Summers, and by her dear son Gordon H. Summers Jr. She was also predeceased by her parents, René Brière and Oliva Brière (née Pagé).

She leaves behind her loving daughters Suzanne Dugal and Louise Lavictoire (Andre), who will forever cherish her memory. Marie-Reine was a proud and devoted grandmother to the late Sonia, Simon (Michelle), Caroline and Patrick. She will also be missed by her great grandchildren, Everette, Oliver, Benjamin, Barrett and Sophie.

Marie-Reine is survived by her siblings Alix and Isabelle. She was predeceased by her siblings Robert, Lina, Edna, Lorraine, Rejeanne, Francoise and Antoine.

Marie-Reine will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. Her warmth and gentle spirit touched all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.

The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Southbridge Nursing Home for their compassionate care, kindness, and dedication. Your support and dignity shown throughout meant more to us than words can express.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes – East Branch (613-933-2841). In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.
