DORÉ, Moïse – Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, February 27, 2015 at the Cornwall Community Hospital at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of the late Simone Roy. Cherished father of Michel Doré (Jovie Anuma-Doré) and Lyse Major (Carl). Much loved “Père” of 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Dearest brother of Rolland Doré, Aline St. Jean, Jacqueline Delair, Pauline Lamoureux, Rita Delair and Anita Beriault. Dear brother-in-law of Camille Roy (Denise) and Janine Ruest. He will also be missed by his pals of the Wednesday’s Day-Away Program. Predeceased by his parents Oscar and Valéda (Laurin) Doré, his brothers Éloi-Pierre, Royal, Léo and Alfred, by his sister Diane Côté, by one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Resting at Lahaie&Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch, 614 First Street East (613.933.2841) at 7 pm Monday. Funeral Tuesday, March 3, 2015 for Service in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 2 pm followed by cremation. The family will be in attendance from 7 to 9 pm Monday and from 12 noon until time of Funeral on Tuesday. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
