Rejean Menard

MENARD, Rejean (Reg) – of Cornwall, at Cornwall Hospice after a courageous battle with lung cancer (Mesothelioma) on Tuesday August 21, 2012. Life partner and best friend of 32 years to Robert (Bob) Browning. Cherished father of Pierre Menard and loving grandfather of Makayla, Brayden and Nolan. Dear son of Annette Menard (Lamarche) of Cornwall and the late Charles Menard. Dear brother of Rejeanne Bouchard (Rejean) of Cornwall and Claudette Rochon (Raymond) of Ste, Julienne QC. He will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews, along with many uncles, aunts and cousins as well as his many friends. Before his illness Reg was a devoted 42 year employee of Morbern Inc. Cornwall and more recently, a volunteer at the Agape Center, Cornwall. Special thanks to his doctors and nurses of the Ottawa Cancer Center and to C.C.A.C, Paramed and Hospice Cornwall for their compassionate care. Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch, 614 First Street East (613-933-2841) from 2 p.m Friday. Funeral Saturday August 25, 2012 for Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peters Church at 10 a.m. Cremation. The family will be in attendance on Friday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to Hospice Cornwall or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
