Renald Allaire

Renald Philippe Allaire, age 89, passed away on March 23, 2026. Born November 27, 1936, Renald was the son of Romeo Allaire and Yvonne (née Bisaillon). He is now reunited with his precious wife, Jean (née Gaines). He resided in St. Andrews West, Ontario.

Renald is survived by his family: Lynn Landry (Jacques) of Cornwall, Marc Allaire of Ingleside, Michel Allaire (Chantal) of Cornwall and Joanne (Jean-Guy) of St. Andrews West. He was a devoted and proud grandfather to Angele, Mario, Julie, Melanie, Martin, Chloe, Colin, Dominique, Erik, and a cherished great-grandfather to Kale, Lily, Amelia, Marissa, Charlie, Jade, Oliver, Beau, Jade and Hannah. Renald is also survived by his sister, Madeleine Cousineau (Claude).

Renald was kind and always ready to lend a helping hand, never expecting anything in return. To all who knew him, he will be remembered for his infectious laugh and his incredible sense of humour. His proudest achievement in life was his children, whom he cherished every single day. Renald’s memory will live on through the lives he touched, the laughter remembered, and the stories and memories shared and never forgotten.

As per Renald’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will be in attendance at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Home East Branch (613-933-2841) from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday, April 2, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11 a.m.
