Thérèse Carrière

Passed away peacefully at the Glen Stor Dun Lodge on May 25, 2017 at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Délima (née Charbonneau) Carrière, by brothers Lucien “Lou” Lionel, Edouard “Eddie” and by her nephew Bernard “Bernie” Carrière. Thérèse will be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Jacqueline Carrière (the late Lucien “Lou” Carrière, her nieces Simone Carrière, Monique Livius and Diane Carrière and by her nephews Lionel Carrière, Richard Carrière, Paul Carrière , Leonard Carrière and their families. Originally from Sudbury, Thérèse relocated to Cornwall where she worked as Coordinator of Personnel Services with the St. Lawrence Seaway Authority. In retirement, she became an active volunteer in the Cornwall community. Mass of Christian Funeral will be Celebrated in Nativity Co-Cathedral on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 10 am. Inurnment Notre Dame Cemetery. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of LAHAIE & SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, East Branch, 614 First Street East (613-933-2841). As expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society or The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Elle fut prédécédée par ses parents, Albert and Délima (née Charbonneau) Carrière ainsi qui ses frères Lucien “Lou” Lionel, Edouard "Eddie" et son neveu Bernard "Bernie" Carrière. Elle laisse dans le deuil sa belle-sœur Jacqueline Carrière (feu Lucien "Lou" Carrière), ses nièces Simone Carrière, Monique Livius, Diane Carrière, Richard Carrière, Paul Carrière, Leonard Carrière ainsi que leurs familles. Originalement de Sudbury, Thérèse est déménagée à Cornwall où elle a accepté un poste de Coordinatrice des Services au Personnel à la Voie Maritime du Saint-Laurent. Lors de sa retraite, elle s’est dévouée comme bénévole dans la communauté de Cornwall. La direction des funérailles a été confiée au salon funéraire Lahaie & Sullivan, succursale de l’est, 614, première rue est. Il n’y aura pas de visite au salon. Les obsèques auront lieu à la Cocathédrale de la Nativité le samedi 3 juin, 2017 à 10h suivi de l’enterrement au cimetière Notre-Dame. Vos marques de sympathies peuvent se traduire par un don à la Société de l’Alzheimer ou à la Société du Cancer.
