Arlie F. Reynolds

Arlie F. Reynolds age 82, peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019. He is survived by his wife, Karen A. Reynolds; son, Lyndell (Charlene) Reynolds; daughters, Robin (Bryan) Bender and Pam (Scott) Neel; son, Adam (Mary) Reynolds; grandchildren, Nate (Sarah) Reynolds, Amanda Reynolds, Cassie Oman, Jessica Copeland and Rayanna Neel; great grandchildren, Savannah, Madelyn, Benjamin, Harrison, Henry, Hailey, Ryan and Jordan; great great- grandson, Axel; sisters, Lu (late John) Cavanaugh and Wanda (late Jack) Wasson; brother, JD (late Barbara) Reynolds Jr.; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Preceded in death by brothers, Robert Reynolds and William Reynolds. Arlie was born September 24, 1937 in Stonefort, IL to the late JD and Mildred Reynolds Sr. On October 29, 1965, he married the love of his life, Karen A. Palm and together they shared 54 years. Arlie retired in 1994 from Inland Steel with 37 years of service. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #157 in Crown Point, IN and was an avid Cubs fan. Arlie will always be remembered for his sense of humor and his bag of tricks. Arlie was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great-grandfather and will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Avenue Crown Point, IN) with Rev. Bob Parnell officiating. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Sunday, November 3, 2019 from 2:00-6:00 PM and on Monday morning from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
