Barbara J. Pollard

Barbara was born March 20, 1929 in Dunbar, West Virginia to the late Omer and Frances Williamson; also preceding her in death are her son, John Paul Pollard; daughter-in-law, Beverly Ann Pollard; brothers, James B. Williamson and David C. Williamson.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 69 years, Anthony Pollard; her two sets of twins, Kevin (Kathy) Pollard, Keith Pollard, Jeffrey (Rosemary) Pollard, and Janelle Pollard; 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and was a foster mother for 108 newborn babies. She cared and loved foster babies, for their first time, when born until time of their adoption. Her impact will remain will all those she cared for. She was a talented seamstress, enjoyed needlepoint and crocheting. Barbara was a faithful member of First Christian Church of Hessville, and she loved playing cards and bingo with her clubhouse friends.
