Betty Gidcumb

Betty was born April 27, 1936 to the late Max and Maxine (Smith) Ingram. Also preceding her in death are her husband, Larry Gidcumb, her daughter Cheryl Gidcumb, grandson, Andrew Gidcumb, and her sisters, Connie, Shirley, and Sue.

Survivors are her children, Ed (Tammy) Gidcumb, Cindy (Dave) Starkey, David (Sharon) Gidcumb, grandchildren, Jen (Geno), Tim, Bob (Becka), Jill (Sal), Jayde (Derek), Jaclyn (Steve) Sara (Jake), Alex, numerous great grandchildren, a brother, Rich (Diane) Ingram and dear friend, Lynne Smith.

Mrs. Gidcumb was a long time and faithful member of Suncrest Church of St. John, and practiced her deep faith devotedly. She was a selfless caretaker to many in her family, and was an avid reader.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S. Cline Ave.; Schererville, IN 46375). Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Gregg Lynne officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
