Calogera "Lilla" Ciaccio

Lilla is loving wife of 61 years to the late Lorenzo Ciaccio; beloved mother to Nicholas (Doris) Ciaccio and Anthony Ciaccio; proud grandmother to Francesca (Salvatore) Raimondi and Marco Ciaccio; great-grandmother to Logan Raimondi; cherished sister to Rita Gandolfo, the late Pete Maggio, and Steve Maggio; Aunt to many.

Lilla was born October 8, 1933 in Sambuca, Sicily, Italy to the late Antonio and Francesca Maggio. She and her husband, Lorenzo, migrated to the United States in 1958. Lilla and her husband owned and operated Lisa's and Lorenzo's Boutique in Hammond, Merrillville and Schererville. She loved cooking especially for her family and friends. Holidays was her favorite time of year. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, with a scripture service at 6:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10:30 am at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (1 W. Wilhelm Rd; Schererville, IN 46375). She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Angels Mausoleum in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
