Catherine A. Casey (nee Cloghessy), age 75, of Crown Point, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010. Catherine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas A. Casey; parents: John and Anna Cloghessy; brother, James Cloghessy; and sister, Rose Ellen Cloghessy. She is loved and will be greatly missed by her brothers: John Cloghessy (Valarie-deceased) and David (Zora) Cloghessy; sisters: Mary Casey (John-deceased) and Nano Dubish (Richard); sister-in-law, Alberta Cloghessy; and dear friends: Mary and Katrina Maloian. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; as well as her dearest companion, Miss Duffy. Catherine was a longtime resident of Chicago and Whiting. She was a graduate of Bishop Noll High School Class of 1953, and attended Ball State University. Catherine was employed for much of her career in real estate management. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. DIRECTLY at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave., (half mile south of U.S. 30) Schererville, IN.
