Dear Amy, Gracie and Anderson family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I have gotten to know both Amy and Darin over the past year. I always loved seeing both of you in clinic, your bond and support for each other was amazing. Darin was a wonderful man. He always loved life, his family, animals and friends. He had a beautiful smile, a great sense of humor and a positive attitude. I always loved to see his determination to get in a fishing trip, a cookout/party or Cubs game. Although, the years were short, he lived a life full of love and adventure. I was very blessed to have gotten to know him and will really miss you both in clinic. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerest Sympathies,
Vicki Villaflor

What can I say about the Big Guy that is worthy and hasn't already been said? We all know that Darin is one of the nicest humans to ever walk the face of planet Earth, to the point that he and his mates actually let me single handedly destroy their Fantasy Football League national ranking as they pumped me full of Chicken Wings and a huge brew down the local bar! As an Aussie married to Darins'cousin Rayleen I had no bloody clue about Gridiron let alone positions and offensive / defensive strategies, so I blindly pushed buttons and did rediculous things to the roaring laughter and shouting support of Darin and the Boys! Darin and his mates had to be thinking "Dave is gunna totally wreck our national ranking here", but all we did was laugh, eat and drink! 😂Worst case of indigestion I ever had! That night left me in awe of how Darin was so respected and loved by his mates that they all let me straight into their inner circle like one of their brothers simply because Darin had ask them to. I love you "Big Guy" and will always carry you in my heart and memories from wrestling in the snow when I first met you in 1986, to pretending we were "The Crocodile Man" in your back yard! So funny! You are a beautiful man Darin and I know you are now in good company with our family and ancestors upstairs! God Bless You, Amy and your Beautiful Family Mate!♥️🙏

I first met Darin when he was 6 years old when he visited Australia with his mum Cheryl sister Tara and grandma Elsie. The whole family came to visit their Australian family for a long holiday. Myself and my family have visited our family in the USA a number of times and have loved our visits with them all. Darin was an amazing man with so much love to give to everyone. He loved his family his sport and his BBQ which I think he must of got from his Australian background. Darin always had a smile on his face and loved to be around his family. I wish I could be there to celebrate his life with my family. All my love. From your cousin Rayleen

Darin, I will miss you. I'll miss our 4th of July camping trips we've been doing for the past (10+?) years. I'm sorry you missed this last one but Charlie is thankful for the recent forgiveness you passed on for his ramming into your new knee at our 1st or 2nd camp :)
I grew up with you guys and have so many fun memories of just hanging out.
Amy, I hope you can somehow find peace in this mess and in just knowing how much Darin was loved and enjoyed. Go Cubs!!!

The very first time I met you Darin was Sunday 27th October 1996. Being one of your Australian cousins this was the first time I'd made it to the US. I met you, Amy and the rest of the family at a brunch at The Ramada I think it was. You also kindly organised a tour of some bars in Chicago. I then got to know you a little more on my subsequent visits over the years and Craig also has great memories of time spent with you, especially that trip to Nashville. We remember you as being funny, generous and kind and we always enjoyed our time together. We're sorry that you had to leave earth this way and many hearts are broken. RIP Darin x

Much love to you Amy, to Cheryl and Tara and the rest of my cousins from Craig and I. Love you all xx

Darin,
In the short time I've known you it was never a dull moment. Between sharing laughs at the cabin, sharing grill recipes or making fun of those loser white sox lol. Although you are no longer with us, your memory will live on forever. Rest easy bud.
Love always and GO CUBS!!!
Jim

To Amy and Darin,
I have known you both for 14 years now, wow that’s along time. I was a mere 20yr old, when Darin, Steve, and Tim took a chance on a clumsy girl and instead of firing me for a being terrible cleaner 14 years ago, they gave me a chance to work in their office. That simply little 20yr old girl got to learn so much about accounting and I’m still in accounting to this day thanks to everything I’ve learned from Darin and a few other friends. And I will always cherish my friendship with Darin and Amy. You both are amazing people. I’m am so incredibly lucky to have met you both.

Darin we will miss you. Until we meet again dear friend.

Amy our thoughts and prayers and love are with you my dear friend.

To Amy and Family:

I consider myself lucky to have had Darin as part of my life for the past 11 years. Things will not be the same in the office without him. Darin was a good man. Fair, Compassionate, and he had a great laugh!!!

Capital D, I will miss you forever.
