He is survived by his children, David Auld of Fishers, IN, Karen Auld of Melbournne, FL and Edward (Kathy) Auld of Elberta, AL; seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, Harland M. and Lalla A. (nee Floyd) Auld and wife, Shirley M. Auld.
Dean was born in Indianapolis, IN. He proudly served our country in the US Air Force. Dean was a machinist at Simmons Company, Munster, IN. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Masons, the Lions Club and past member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Highland, IN.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 8178 Cline Avenue Schererville, IN with Pastor Shawn Cornett officiating.
Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN.
Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
