A deep lover of nature, Diane enjoyed spending time outdoors—whether it was fishing, floating in the pool, or tending to her garden. She also found joy in feeding the birds and squirrels that visited her yard. A longtime employee of the Wheel Restaurant, Diane formed lasting friendships with her colleagues and patrons. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her family, creating fond memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Diane is survived by her loving children; daughters, Kimberly (Ian) Gaspar and Kelly (Joseph) Matijevich; son, Nathan (Nicole) Cichocki; and her cherished grandchildren, Cydney, Noah, Gwyndolyn, Amilia, and Levi. Diane also leaves behind her faithful dog, Burt, who brought her much comfort and joy.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 33 years, Gary Cichocki; her parents, Donald and Rose Blount; her brother, Steven Blount; and her in-laws, Jacqueline and Theodore Cichocki.
Diane will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her warmth, kindness, and love for her family and friends left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Her presence will be forever cherished, and she will never be forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the American Cancer Society or contributions directly to the family.
