Elizabeth "Betty" L. Barta Lamberg

ELIZABETH "BETTY" L. VINCE-LAMBERG CLARKSVILLE, IN FORMERLY OF HAMMOND, INDIANA , age 87, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2015 at her residence in Clarksville, IN with her loving son and his family at her side. Betty was born March 29, 1928 in East Chicago, IN to the late Steven and Lillian (Patchman) Barta. Also preceding her in death are her first husband, Frank Vince, who passed away in 1972, and her second husband, Roy J. Lamberg, who passed away in 1995; and her brothers: John and Steve; and her sisters: Ethel and Margaret. Left to cherish her memory are her sons: Frank (Iris) Vince and David (Laura) Vince; grandchildren: Adam (Sara) Vince, Matthew Vince, Erin Vince, Andrew Vince and several nieces and nephews. She retired after 30 years of service with Bethlehem Steel as a secretary. She and her family were formerly long time parishioners of St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church of Hammond. She loved doing crafts, puzzles and bingo, and was an avid old movie buff. Betty was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and will be missed by those who loved her. A memorial service will be Saturday, January 9, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S. Cline Ave.; Schererville, IN 46375).
