Elizabeth Grace Potter

Elizabeth Grace Potter age 81, peacefully passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017. She is survived by her children, Suzanne (Robert) Roquet, Karen (Stephen) Moss, Stanley (Gerri) Potter, Daniel Potter, Michelle (Matthew) Sheridan, Elizabeth (Niko) Trevino and Jessica Potter; 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; 3 sisters and 4 brothers; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Grace Frattalone and husband, Stanley Dean Potter Jr. Elizabeth was born on November 11, 1935 in Buffalo, NY. On January 13, 1955 she married the love of her life, Stanley and together they shared 58 years. Elizabeth and Stan fostered many children over the years. They enjoyed camping, traveling across the country, crafting and hosting all their family festivities. Elizabeth was a longtime member of Hessville Baptist Church and she found strength in her faith in Christ. Elizabeth was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and foster mother. She will truly be missed by all whose lives she touched. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Avenue Crown Point, IN) with Rev. Jeffrey Hannon officiating. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Monday, October 16, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
