Fidel Medina Sr.

He was born in 1934 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. He came to the USA and served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a overhead cranes man at LTV for over 30 years. Fidel was a man of strong Catholic faith. He was loved by many.

He was a devoted father to Maria, Fidel Jr., Aurelio (Rose), Gema (Ray), Catalina, and Benjamin; grandfather of 20; great grandfather to 9. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Catalina, and cherished daughter Adriana (Nani).

Visitation will be Friday, June 15, 2018 from 4-8 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Ave.; Crown Point, IN 46307). Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 9:00 am at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church (1445 Hoffman St.; Hammond, IN 46327) with Rev. Erlin Garcia officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
