Gordon Roy Mileham

Gordon R. Mileham age 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 18, 2017. He is survived by his sister, Joyce (Bernard) Ritchey; nephews, Ronald (Lisa) Brewer, Steve (Shirley) Brewer, Christopher (Heather) Brewer, Brad (Kathy) Ayres, John Ayres, Norman Roy (late Barbara) Ayres and Jerry (Michelle) Ayres; niece, Sharon (Allen) Rubin; many great nieces, nephews and dear friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Evelyn Mileham and sister, Shirley (late Norman) Ayres. Gordon was born on April 3, 1938 in Chicago, IL. He was a 1956 graduate of Crown Point High School. Gordon proudly served our country in the US Army. He worked as a fabricator for Munster Steel, Crown Core and retired from Schererville Steel with many years of service. He enjoyed photography, reading and crossword puzzles. Gordon was a loving son and brother and will be truly missed by all whose lives he touched. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 7:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Avenue Schererville, IN) with Pastor Mark Wilkins officiating. Private interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Monday from 4:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home.
