Grace H. Teeter, age 89, of Hammond, Indiana passed away peacefully on August 11, 2017 at The Crown Point Christian Village. Grace was born September 21, 1927 in Pekin, Illinois to the late George and Emma Junker. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Max Teeter. She is survived by her step-son, David (Carol) Teeter; twin granddaughters, Amy (Dave) Hinkel and Jodi Dillingham; great grandchildren, Alli Dillingham, Carson and Conner Hinkel, and Mason Longoria. Grace graduated in 1946 from Washington High School in East Chicago. She worked at Home Insurance Company for over 27 years. She was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church of Hammond and played dirtball for South Side Christian Church, she was also a volunteer at Munster Med Inn. She enjoyed sewing, and spending time with her family. Visitation will be Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 4:00 pm until the time of her funeral at 6:00 pm. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Ave.; Schererville, Indiana 46375).
