Jacqueline Mae Tezak

Jackie graduated from Joliet High School, Class of 1952. She was a member of St. Maria Goretti Senior Citizens Club for the Deaf. She enjoyed cross stitch and crotchet, many hours at the table working on puzzles and cheering for the Chicago Bears and Chicago Bulls. She always had a smile and an ILY wave for those she met. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Jackie is the wife of the late Jerry M Tezak. Beloved mother of Michelle Tezak of Valparaiso IN and Francis Tezak of Key West, FL. Lovingly survived by her granddaughter Jennifer Miner and her husband John of Crown Point, IN, her granddaughter Stephany McCarty of Valparaiso, her 3 precious great grandchildren, Madison Miner, JJ Miner and Isabell Eckenrode and her dear sister Camille (Bailey) Shroba of Joliet IL.

Our family wishes to thank the employees of Life Care Center of Valparaiso for their excellent and loving care for Jackie during the last years of her life. She loved you all.

Following cremation, visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 11AM - 1PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN. The Memorial Service will be held immediately following visitation at 1PM with Reverend Doug Klukken officiating. Internment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated in Jackie’s memory to Life Care Center of Valparaiso, 3405 N Campbell St, Valparaiso, IN 46385.
