James Joseph Busch, age 73, of Munster, passed away peacefully at his home on November 27, 2014. Jim was born May 6, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Robert J. and Marie (Scatena) Busch. Also preceding him in death is his wife Ann S. Busch who passed away in 1994. Survivors are his children, Nicole (Ken) Campbell, Diane Losea, and Mike (Debbie) Panfil, grandchildren, Kyle, Madelyn, Jordan, Michael and Paige. He was a foreman for Midwest Steel Corporation (National Steel) in Portage, for over 40 years until his retirement in 2004. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, and a friend to many. Jim will be greatly missed by those who loved him. Visitation will be Monday, December 1, 2014 from 11:00 am until time of funeral services at 1:00 pm, at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 S. Cline Ave.; Schererville, Indiana 46375), with Pastor Robert Stroup officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
