Jane A. Elias

She is survived by her children, Eric Elias, Laura Moore, and James Elias; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Sarah) Moore, April Moore, and Stephanie (Thomas) Elias-Davie; and two great-grandchildren, Indigo Moore and Jensen Moore.

Jane is welcomed into everlasting life by her husband of 65 years, Vincent Elias.

Her family will always have memories of the things she liked to do. These hobbies of hers included completing jigsaw puzzles, traveling, reading, going out to dinner, playing Pinochle with friends, teaching CCD classes at St. Mary's in East Chicago, IN and her Den Mother skills with the Cub Scouts, which she carried on from when her son and grandsons were a part of the Boy Scouts of America. What a true light of life, and to love those who came into her arms with unconditional love makes her loss that much more difficult. To honor her as a mother and grandmother is how she will be remembered.

A Memorial Visitation for Jane will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. A Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00 AM with Reverend Erika D. Brooks officiating. Private burial of ashes to take place with family.
