John A. Lesniak

John was born May 31, 1963 in Hammond, Indiana to the late Albert and Lillian Lesniak.

Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Kathy (David) Starko of Crown Point, IN; Sue Lesniak (Lisa Cittadino) of Lake Orion, Michigan; and Karen (Brad) Smith of Cape Coral, Florida. Also survived by three nephews and one niece; Chris (Sarah) Kors of Napa, California; Megan Kors of Crown Point, Indiana; Jeff (Dana Yake) Kors of Valparaiso, Indiana and Aaron Smith of Reno, Nevada.

John was a big hockey fan and loved watching the Chicago Blackhawks. He also played on a local hockey team for a few years. He enjoyed watching The Tonight Show with David Letterman and listening to the band Tesla. John will be greatly missed by family and friends who loved him.

Family and Friends may visit at Our Lady Of Grace Catholic Church (3025 Highway Ave; Highland, Indiana 46322) from 9:30 am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am.on Saturday, July 15 2017 with Rev. Edward J. Moszur officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Food Bank of Northwest Indiana (foodbanknwi.org) would be greatly appreciated.
