Joy is the loving wife of 50 years to Eric McIntosh; beloved mother to Peter (Erica) McIntosh, Elizabeth McIntosh and Mark McIntosh; proud grandmother to Hayden McIntosh, McKayla McIntosh and Mercedes McIntosh; cherished sister to Rex (Denise) Gross, Joe (Julie) Gross and Annie (Billy) Stottler; devoted daughter to the late Al and Mable Gross.
Joy was a certified nursing assistant, working at various local nursing homes. She and her family are members of Southlake Fundamental Baptist Church. She was a talented seamstress, making clothes for her family. She also enjoyed cross stitching and needle pointing. She was active and volunteered at Southlake Mental Health Center. Joy is a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 4:00-8:00pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, May 12, 2023 at 12 noon at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Promnitz officiating. She will be laid to rest in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
