Judith Ann Jajowka

Judy was the loving wife to the late Lawrence Jajowka; cherished mother to Raymond (Michelle) Jajowka, Scott (Tara) Jajowka and Lauren (Aaron) Govert; proud grandmother to Kyrstin, Amber, Jordan, Jenna and Aleksandr; beloved sister to the late Bonita Bohlsen, David (Marge) Bohlsen, Wayne (Cindy) Bohlsen, Jayne (Carl) Heft and Kathie (the late Gus) Gans; special aunt to Tina (Eric) Switzer and Tammy (David) Maksa and many other nieces and nephews; beloved friend and "adopted" grandmother to many.

Judy was a librarian for Griffith High School and secretary for the Griffith Town Council. She and her husband were foster parents for Catholic Charities for many years, fostering over 20 children. She also worked for Lake County as a CASA case manager and a Guardian Ad Litem for several children. Judy also volunteered with the Griffith Parks Department. She was also a faithful and active member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, February 17, 2023 at 10:00 am at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
