KATHLEEN ANN SMOOT MERRILLVILLE, IN Kathleen Ann Smoot, age 52, passed away July 9, 2013. She is survived by her fiance, Robert Taylor; parents: Robert and Geraldine; three sisters: Laura (Ron) Peters, Kristen (Jodi Bednar) Smoot, and Karen (John) Bauer. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m, at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home (8178 Cline Ave., Schererville, IN) with Rev. James Wozniak officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chicagoland Dog Rescue (www.chicagolanddogrescue. org).
