Lamond Stevenson

She leaves behind her daughter, Debbie (John) Wiggs; son, Rick Stevenson; two grandchildren, Angie (John) Mathis, and Jennifer (Mark) McDaniel; four great-grandchildren, Andrew Garner, Alex Mathis, Marley McDaniel, and Mabrey McDaniel; two sisters, Carolyn Hull, and Delphia Kent; along with several nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Lamond is welcomed into everlasting life by her parents, James and Bernice Shepherd; two sons, Mark Stevenson and Danny Stevenson; and ten brothers and sisters.

Lamond was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and follower of her faith. Hobbies of hers included decorating and spending countless hours bringing her garden to life. She will be remembered for her kindness and ability to make every situation beautiful.

A Public Visitation for Lamond will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. A Funeral Service to celebrate her life will begin at 12:00 PM, with Pastor Daniel Obinger officiating. Burial to follow in the Garden of Eternal Love at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
