Larry B. Sandlin Jr.

Larry Brian Sandlin Jr., age 53, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2010 at his residence in Brownsburg, IN. He was born June 1, 1957 in East Chicago, IN to Larry Brian & Augustine (nee Michal) Sandlin Sr. He married Sue (nee Jovanovic) Sandlin on November 20, 1987 and she survives. Larry was self employed owning a vintage sports memorabilia store. He also loved classic cars. Larry's passion for kids and baseball kept him involved for some 20 years as a little league coach. Larry had the unique opportunity to lead his son Adam's thirteen year old All Star Division team from Brownsburg to the State Championship in 2007. He was loved deeply by his family and all the kids he coached over the decades.

Larry is survived by his wife Sue Sandlin. His mother Augustine Sandlin. Sons: Brian (Karen) Sandlin; Jeremy (Megan) Sandlin; Adam B. Sandlin. Brothers: Michael (Mickey) Sandlin; Daniel P.Sandlin; Timothy D. Sandlin; and William WR Riley. A sister: Theresa Sandlin. Eight Grandchildren. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be offered on Thursday, August 5, 2010 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Schererville, IN. The funeral service will be on Friday, August 6, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN.
