

Larry Wayne Tucker of Hammond, IN, arrived into time February 26, 1943, growing up in McCrory, AR, with mother Flodie, sisters Betty and Peggy, uncles Roy and Wesley Orman. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janet (D’Amico), son Brian (Dawn Anderson), son Stephen, and daughter Evelyn Tucker Beatty (Karl); four grandchildren: Damico Tucker, Shelby Tucker, Jubilee Beatty, and Trinity Beatty; sister-in-law Linda Hemmerich; beloved nieces and nephew Debbie Ancich (Vic), Kathy Krukowski, Billy Davis, Marta Wood (Ryan, Zachary, and Matty), and Bethany Hemmerich; and countless friends and relatives, including special "faux" great-grandchildren Emma, Isabelle, and Elise Christensen and Matthias Taylor.
Larry was a lift truck operator in the stock department at Ford Motor Company, Hegewisch, for 37-1/2 years, retiring January 1, 2000. He was a veteran of the US Armed Services Army Division in Pittsburgh, PA, where he met his wife 54 years ago.
Larry had many interests throughout his life and was a long-time member of the following organizations, NRA Life Member, Lake County Friends of the NRA committee member, The Izaak Walton League of America, Calumet Clowns, Michiana Clowns, World Clown Association, Midwest Clown Association, Clowns of America International, and Fellowship of Christian Magicians.
Larry attended Life Point Church of Hammond, IN, and particularly enjoyed fellowship with the Seniors’ Ministry group.
Larry entered eternity December 25, 2020, and was blessed to be received by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He will be remembered and missed by all those that knew him.
