She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Leopoldo "Paul" N. Valle; daughter, Cheryl (Kip) Petyko, son, Robert (Connie) Gaffin; grandchildren, Angela (Adam) Berwick, granddaughter; Kathy Veschak and grandson Robert Gaffin, granddaughter Hannah (Mark) Jackson, granddaughter Hilary (Dan) Ruth, grandson Zac (Lacie) Petyko, also 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, and granddog Chloe.
Preceded in death by both her parents, sisters and brothers.
Leona was born on January 5, 1944 in Chicago, IL to the late Stanley and Frances Kryza and attended CVS High School. She retired in 2000 from Osco.
On September 12, 1987, she married the love of her life, Leopoldo "Paul" N. Valle.
She was lovingly called Nana by her grandchildren and GiGi by her great-grandchildren. Leona enjoyed crafting, scrapbooking, ceramics and gardening.
Per the wishes of Leona, services were held privately by the family.
