

She was born on August 16, 1954 in Robinson IL to Lawrence Scott and Rosella Faye Meyer. Throughout her life, Linda was known for her kindness, generosity, and her sense of humor. She loved horses, crafting, camping, and going to motorcycle rallies when she was young. She found great joy in spending time with her friends and family.
Linda dedicated many years early on to “March of Dimes,” and then later on in life to “Exceptional Equestrians Unlimited,” helping and being barn manager to the therapeutic riding facility. Her legacy of love, wisdom, and compassion will live on in all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Elmer (Butch) Hoelscher; her daughter, April Kiel; son-in-law, Edward Kiel; her grandchildren, Tracy, Logan, and Dolton Kiel; and her siblings, Chris Scott, Larry Scott and Mary Maldonado. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Gene Hoelscher; and her sister, Wanda Scott-Johnson.
In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated and laid to rest in a private family burial. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this time of remembrance.
She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
