Lindsay N. Strehl, 22, of Lowell, IN, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Lindsay was born in Lake County, IN on August 10, 1989. Lindsay graduated from Crown Point High School. She enjoyed listening to music, writing poetry, and animals. Surviving are her parents: Robert R. "Bob" and Tasha M. (Duran) Strehl; one sister and brother-in-law: Desiree and Aaron Csikos; one brother, Robert R. Strehl Jr.; a nephew, Nikolas Csikos; paternal grandparents: Mary Eckhart and Karl Strehl; and maternal grandfather, Joseph Duran. Also surviving are several aunts and uncles. Lindsay was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Rita J. Duran. Family will receive friends Monday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave., Schererville, IN. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Wilkins officiating. Burial to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
